About Matthew Ruggles
Prior to creating Ruggles Law, Attorney Ruggles was a partner at Buckley & Zopf, a general civil practice firm in Sullivan County, New Hampshire. Attorney Ruggles is experienced in handling litigation, family law, real estate, corporate, probate, landlord/tenant, and trust and estate matters.
Attorney Ruggles began his career in the Philadelphia office of Lavin O’Neil Ricci Cedrone & DiSipio. While at Lavin O’Neil, Attorney Ruggles’ practice focused on litigation defense, representing clients in property damage, personal injury, and business-related matters as well as product manufacturers in a variety of complex litigation and mass tort matters.
Attorney Ruggles earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in Camden, New Jersey in 2006. He earned his Bachelors of Arts from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
Attorney Ruggles is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and District of New Jersey. His is also admitted to practice in New Hampshire and has served as the president of the Bar Association of Sullivan County, NH.
When not practicing law, Attorney Ruggles dedicates his time to family, coaching rowing, and a variety of non-profit organizations. He has coached for St. Joe’s Prep, Upper Valley Rowing Foundation, Lebanon HS Crew Team, and Swan Creek Rowing Club. Attorney Ruggles has dedicated his time to Habitat for Humanity, Healing the Children, and a number of other non-profit organizations.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Attorney Ruggles now lives in Bucks County, PA with his wife and two sons.
